Pariah (2011): ★★★★★
This movie was one of the most beautifully executed movies I saw that came out in 2011. It was real, raw, intelligent, and honest. I was stunned throughout its entirety at the amount of weight pulled by the acting alone. The story really shook me. I still feel heavy from it all. It was mesmerizing how much feeling there was behind the camera; how such simple angles become so loud and made such soft scenes complex. Anyways, that’s basically all I want to say.
