Films Dan Watched in 2012: 004/365 The Beaver (2011) : ★★☆☆☆ This movie was beyond obnoxious. Who came up with this? Obviously the acting was of the highest caliber but…a beaver?! A BEAVER!? This was the most unbelievable thing I’ve seen in film in a long ass time…possibly ever. Oh Jodie, Jodie! What were you thinking? Mel, you’re an absolute moron. And I’m heartbroken to see my bb’s Jennifer Lawrence and Anton Yelchin in this. Ugh, I did like the ending though. I really did. I’m only giving two stars because the acting was really good. It saved the screenplay from the darkest pits of hell. Not hell itself though, but definitely the darkest pits.
